Since January 2008, we meet up at the new vanue every Thursday 7 - 10 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Chaplaincy Centre, the Ground Floor of Lawrence Tower inside Aston University. We used to use at Kyu's place before since at the beginning.
Hope Birmingham is a member of Hope Church London and a family of Hope International Ministries (H.I.M.).
Our vision is Fulfilling the Great Commission by raising Christ-centred disciples to plant vibrant, biblical churches in Birmingham, the United Kingdom and all over the world.
Hope Birmingham care group started on December 5th, 2006 with Nong who is a PhD student at Aston University and originally from Thailand. Pastor PK from Hope London encouraged Nong to start a care group in Birmingham, the second largest city in United Kingdom. Nong prayed for a committed Christian brother to help with pioneering care group. God answered his prayer by sending Kyu who is from Hope London. Kyu is now doing PhD at Birmingham University and originally from South Korea. God has blessed us with another committed team member called Michel, a PhD student from Aston University and originally from Madagascar.
